Ok, I want to make sure that is really is ok. I was told by someone on here that the best pot is an insulated one, like a styroform cup, is this really ok for a venus. The only cup I have found that I feel is tall enough to encourage root growth has a logo on it, it is a Crystal Flash cup that is 8 1/2" tall. Or should I just stick to the plastic one, it is purple, maybe not be best for outdoors this summer. I live in Indiana, so it stays indoors through the winter. I just want to know what is really best, for I plan to repot with fresh soil this Saturday.

I prefer using 16oz styrofoam beverage cups because they're the right depth, the right price ($1 for 20) and provide excellent insulation.

Any deep pot with good insulation will work though. I don't know what a "Crystal Flash" cup is.

That sounds like it will probably be fine. I assume it's just a 16oz foam cup with a logo on it. Make sure you stab some drainage holes in the bottom.
