Hi all. I'm Nick. 55 year old correctional officer in Md. I have orchids (for the wife), nepenthes, vft, sarracenia, drosera. My orchids are lowes recues. Got two this week, purp and orange. My first from last year blooms 3 or so times a year now with light. My first vft was also a lowes recue and it is thriving. I got a b 52 two days ago :). Only one serracenia, this is second summer and is out growing its pot. MY favs are nepenthes tho. My first I don't remember what it was and was fm a nursery. Lol it was in reg dirt and did great but couldn't get it thru our md winter as I didn't have enough light. Last year I got sanguinea and a ventricosa x ramispina. The ramispina I noticed had a basal, I thought, appears there are 2 maybe three. The week I got a diana and a spatulata x spectabilis. And lastly my st. gaya........never repotted but it seems to be a very slow grower. Looking forward to working with you all and picking your brains.
