The plant looks healthy overall with lots of new growth, but some traps are turning black around the perimeter, which spreads until the whole trap turns black. This is happening on this year's growth. What could be causing this?

This is on a King Henry, but the same is happening on my Dente.

It could be many reasons why it's turning black, from envoiremental reasons to just old age.

Can you tell us a bit more about the plant? What's your climate, what kind of medium it's planted on? what kind of water do you use? Is the trap old?

I have a similar problem, but my traps are Turning yellow, then black. This is a b52

Yours is just an old trap that is dying.

Ok. The plant looks healthy to me, but I saw Another weird trap. The Teeth are dying
