PM notification email?

Is there a way to be notified via email when receiving a PM? I can subscribe to a topic I post about and get a notification when there is a reply, but for PMs, I have to come to the site and check.

Yes, go to the control panel and select the Board Preferences tabe. Click on the Edit Notifications button. Toward the bottom you should see the area for PMs.

When you sign up, your preferences default to being notified of a PM automatically unless you change it. Looking at your preferences, it's already set to notify you. However, that notification is never immediate. It can take minutes to hours, sometimes longer, before you get notified.

Weird. I’ve never received an email notification about a PM, not even way after the fact. I do receive email notifications for post replies that I’ve subscribed to.
