However, I gotta ask, why do you need your VFT to make it through two flowering? Generally, most of us clip our flowering stalks for a number of reasons; stalks take a lot of energy away from the plant, stalks can strike babies that grow faster than seeds, seeds take years to produce a mature plant, seeds don't produce copies of the parent, etc.
