I think most people use it straight out of the bottle, but I'm not a 100% sure about that...no personal experience.

Have you tried more fresh air/air-movement to reduce the haze?

I use the Bioadvanced at the dilution on the label. I haven't used it for pings. You might want to post a Pic of the white film. I had that form on pumice and it was just minerals.

A quick Googling should bring up several recipes. But basically, you take powered cinnamon (be sure it's the real stuff, not a taste-alike) put it in a bottle, pour hot water over it and let it steep for x hours. Take the result and pour it thru a coffee filter (or equivalent) into a spray bottle. I don't actually remember the proportions I used but the first recipe I just found says 2 tablespoons of cinnamon to 2 cups of hot water and a 1/2 hour of steeping. (I'd probably steep it longer but I really have no real reason to do so.)
