Hi all.What can i do with a flower stalk ? If i plant it will grow into something (pardon my ignorance),or not ? My new vft skiped dormancy(the other two are dormant) and has 1 and half inch stalk and i am gonna cut it today or tomorrow.Thanks in advance.

from what ive read off some other sites you can cut it off and plant it. now idk if it has to be blooming or not or if it could just be the actual stalk. but if your going to cut it off anyways you might as well try :)

I've done this as well when Matt gave me this same advice; it works. :) Just stick the cut end of the flower stalk upright into the soil about a half inch down (just enough so it stands on its own). You'll probably get plantlet(s) in a month or two.
