What do stratified seeds look like? I was checking on mine regularly and they seemed fine at a glance. Now, at the 7 week mark, I took a closer look. There are red spots on the paper towel and the seeds look weird and gray. Are they ok?

I've decanted Sarr seeds that have been light brown, gray, dark bown, a few almost black that have all sprouted. Unless you see actual mold on the seed, you really can't tell "at a glance". You'll have to plant them and find out.

I'll get them planted today if I have time.
