Looking to repot into peat:sand in a few months, this a good sand choice?

I think it's about 4 gallons.

I use pool filter (silica) sand for many of my mixes, 0.8-1.2mm tends to work best for me! That looks good, if not a bit fine. Maybe keep an eye out for compaction

Did you get the sand? I'm trying to decide what to get. I've looked everywhere for "silica" sand in a coarse grade but haven't found anything. I even contacted US Silica that has a plant somewhat close to me but they said they only mine fine silica there. :( I'm thinking of going the pool filter sand route.

Looks to be really good! I'd use it but I found something cheaper at home depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/SAKRETE-50- ... /202007298

@thepitchergrower says it's pure silica but it seems like each bag is inconsistent according to some of the reviews. If you want to be 100% sure, I'd get the silica sand that I found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Palmetto-Poolfil ... 192&sr=8-4. But you can also go to home depot and see the product for yourself and it's a lot cheaper. I want to go to home depot to check out that sand and see if it's worth the price.
