Hi everyone,

I managed to pluck this pictured pest off my VFT after repotting it earlier today, but I'd like some second opinion as to what it is. It looks like a grown thrip to me. I had some on some African violets before, but after spraying that particular plant with a suitable pesticide, I think it got rid of them - that and cutting off all blooms and infected leaves :')

Can anyone else confirm what this is?

I managed to take a video of it and pull screenshots from that video. It walked right through a trap and I was thinking my VFT would close on it, but it just sauntered on through two traps without triggering a thing.

I managed to remove this one whatever it is, but should I be worried? My plant looks fine and healthy for now - just 4 closed traps from my repotting today, but that's it.

Thanks for any help and advice!

That's reassuring! How about this little red spidey guy? I managed to catch him on video and pull screenshots.
