I'm just getting started with tissue culture. Are there any places that I could purchase some already started tissue culture? I have attempted some x-plants but they all seem to get contaminated.

carolina biological supply has some prestarted venus flytraps in vitro i think.

No, I haven't. I get more flytraps than I can handle from divisions and seeds.

You have to have a little patience, but it's worth it. I've gotten some really great hard to find species from him.

Cultures tend to easily contaminate in transit - I have no idea how the aquatic plant people do it. They need to be sealed super well!

lol definitely. I tried ordering from a few aquarium suppliers in the past. The cultures turned into brown mush 24-48 hours after arriving. Labflytrap packages them up well though. I have ordered from him twice over the years and maybe one in 30 gets contaminated. All the way from Prague. He ships in centrifuge vials. I think that has something to do with it.
