Last year I used a purple lamp for dormancy and the flytrap got really small leaves and traps. This year, I just used some CFLs, and it looks like the plants just froze in time. They still have all their larger leaves and traps. I think it could be possible that light spectrum affects their dormancy. Next year, I'm gonna try giving some of the flytraps no light, just cold temperatures.

I have a VFT that is dormant (I hope). I do not give it light but I keep it at 10°C. The plant looks fine. Nothing really is happening. If it turns out good, I will do the same next winter.
