We had a warm early Spring, followed by a cold Summer… then a warm Autumn. Many of my flytraps had second flower scapes in early September, largely B52s & Polish Draculas. These seeds germinated while in dormancy near a window in the cellar (about 50°F max).

I separated them from the parent and am keeping them in the living area where it’s about 68°F. Any tips on these late season additions? I hesitate to keep them in the dry cool cellar. I’m thinking of slowly moving them to a cooler spot once they get more established.

If you have the space and lighting, I would keep them indoors and give them a headstart on the next growing season. They can easily skip this winter and likely next winter dormancies.

I would keep them as warm as possible and give them plenty of light. There's no reason for freshly germinated seedlings to go dormant this winter.
