Newbie leaf cuttings :)

I know Drosera adelae are considered easy to propagate, but for a newbie it was exciting to see it happen! The tiny plantlets sprouted from my first leaf cuttings at about 3 weeks and I transferred them to pots at about 6 weeks.

This was also a very small experiment, with all leaf pieces from the same parent plant. The pieces laid on the surface of soggy sphagnum sprouted just a little quicker and produced slightly more plantlets than the pieces in vials of pure water. Not scientifically significant ;)

Looking great! The tiny little plantlets are so cute I just can't help but love them at that stage.
