Just saying hey! Got my first VFT last week (well second if you count the ill-fated one I had as child 20 some odd years ago). Really enjoying taking care of it so far. Survived it's transplant. At the moment I'm putting it on the patio of my apartment for a few hours a day then bringing it in so I can, you know, see it. Ordered an indoor grow light so that should be getting set up in a week or 2. Looking forward to watching it grow!

Welcome! I'm glad to have you here. Stay a while and show us your baby. Where did you get your plant from? Pretty soon you'll have drosera, sarracenia, and neps. It's an obsession I swear.

A hardware store nursery. Picked the best looking one of the bunch. Gonna try to take it one plant at a time but if successful I've also had my eye on some bonsai haha.

I've picked up a bunch and just sent off a box full of drosera and vfts. They can divide really quickly. The wally cultivar from flytrapstore is like that. Take a peek at them and see your future plants.

I've always had trouble bringing my flytraps out and in, because of the sudden frequent change in temperature, light, etc. Personally in arizona I just keep them outside with full sun from morning to noon with filtered sun from one of my palm trees during the afternoon.
