"Pom Pom" is a mutation of the plant that doesn't last long. You can't get a verity of Venus Flytraps out of seed due to the genetics.

David Conner said he attempted tissue culturing "Pom Pom" and the trait wasn't stable. All of the TC babies turned out to be "typical" Venus fly traps.
