After much debate, it's theorized that the D. ultramafica seeds recently donated may not be ultras, but likely a form of spatulata or a hybrid. I still think it looks much more like an ultra than a spat, but I'm not an expert.
They have been renamed spatulata complex "Fake ultramafica", and are immediately available to all eligible members.

If you called it Spatulata complex "ultramafica fake" we could affectionately refer to it as Scuf. That plant would go great with my Spatulata of unknown origin.

I germinated some of those seeds and so far they're looking pretty ultramafica-ish to me. Way too young to tell for sure though. They look a lot more like real deal ultramafica to me than some of the other things I've seen called "ultramafica" do. At the least they're ultramafica x spathulata hybrids likely.

I felt bad about being the one to cast the doubt :lol: , but getting it resolved really shows why this is the BEST seedbank! And an awesome group of growers!
