The title say it all really, but it would be nice if I could get some advice. Now I'd not be this paranoid for a beginner trap, but since it was a gift, I can’t help but get too attached. Might as well hit two birds with one stone and ask you lovely flytrap fanatics, should I be concerned if my traps fold in on its teeth? Now this particular fly put up a fight and I had three traps close and lost an SD card to it (Don't ask), and I'm paranoid as all hell as I'd rather not have this stupid thing die on me (Oh and I managed to get its heads quite big for a cheap little thing, so that's more of a reason I don't want it dying on me.)

Hello there!

The trap folding in on its teeth won't hurt the plant, though the individual trap (might) turn black and die if it doesn't seal completely. The plant itself will be fine though.
