Hey guys.
I bought a fused tooth from Matt and Leah that quickly became a favorite (pictured). This spring, it divided into four divisions. Unfortunately, the mother plant took an unexpected down fall, and died. The divisions (pictured) are doing well, but so far haven't shown the fused tooth traits.

Is it common for a division of a mutant to not show the traits of the mother plant?

Thanks guys.

Ric

All of the flytraps that have the fused tooth trait (Fused Tooth, Fuzzy Tooth, Fused Tooth Extreme, etc.) typically show the fusing much more so in the summer and fall months and also as they mature to large specimens. Small Fused Tooth flytraps often don't show any fusing at all or only mild fusing later in the year.

Please post an update sometime in mid to late summer and then again in early fall and let's see how they look then!

I can tell from the photos, and my experience from growing that clone for over a decade, that those are definitely small Fused Tooth flytraps, so they will fuse again someday!!
