I think I have found the best plant to protect my bog garden when I finally do one.

I had to Google that one:
Solanum pyracanthos, also known as the porcupine tomato and devil's thorn, is an evergreen shrub native to tropical Madagascar and the islands of the western Indian Ocean.
A plant like this should drop a not-too-subtle hint to the squirrels and deer. 8-)
