I just picked up some sphagnum peat moss and was wondering if this alone with some perlite will be sufficient in repotting my plant. If not what else should I get for it or just some other suggestions if any. Thank you!

Yep! That peat moss, along with perlite or silica sand (or even without), will work fine for potting most carnivorous plants. It's better to add something to aerate the soil, like perlite, but not absolutely necessary.

Quick PSA - Never breathe any of those rocks you toss in soil. It can cause serious lung damage. I like to wet the whole bag of perlite. It stays wet and no fungus grows since it's abiotic, but there is no dust anymore.

These days I’m wearing a mask to protect against COVID 19. I wonder if it helps with Perlite dust?

A DUST mask will help, that's what I use when mixing a batch. I believe the N95 masks are dust masks. Corrections welcomed.

Pft don't waste those n-95s on that. You need to buy a detachable filter, silicone MSA filtered mask.
They cost 30 bucks and filter dust, pesticide, perlite, spraypaint, sawdust... anybody interested in working with wood, plants, or dust really needs one.
