So how does a single rhizome produce these bulbs that are completely red? If this was seed grown, I'd blame the milkman but all of these divisions came from the same rhizome. I'd like to hope that they would keep this coloration but I seriously doubt it.

Maybe that hot Georgia sun burned 'em. Or they mutated. Or they turned red from embarrassment because you got them all nakey and took pics. VFT porn!
