I just got my side of a trade with Carrie's. He sent me two large sarr rhizomes and a {squeal} Cobra Lilly. The sarrs were so big i planted them each in a #1 nursery pot. The Cobra is gorgeous! Im going shopping for a pot for it tomorrow. I sent him the best that I had but I feel I fell short of this mark. I'll have to surprise him with something once my plants start producing (shh, don't tell him ;) )

Thanks Carrie's!

Keep us updated on how the Cobras do in Georgia. I've been toying with the possibility of getting some, but I don't know how happy they'll be in Tennessee.

We shall see. I am thinking that I am going to go against my normal advice and shift it inside at night to get some chilling on an AC vent. I'm excited to try and I will certainly let y'all know how it goes.

On another note, I discovered that I have been living a lie. I thought I was growing in zone 7b but it is actually 8a. This changes everything.

As long as you can keep the roots cool, Cobras are easy to grow. The best set up I've seen is using a styrofoam cooler buried in the ground with auto-drip irrigation running cold water on it both morning and evening.
