So I put my Venus fly trap into a light-less area but it’s leaves haven’t started it for, it looks exactly the same as before I put it there (no growth) does this mean it’s in dormancy?

It’s very small as it’s my first year having it, so probably it is in dormancy. Also when should I repot it?

I read a lot of articles saying you should report the Venus flytrap but I’m not exactly sure when I should do it.

Venus flytraps are best repotted in late winter or early spring. We're going through and repotting the vast majority of our plants that need to be repotted right now and will continue to make a strong effort to get all of them repotted by March or so.
