Having reasonable success with my other seed choices, I purchased some P. caerulea seeds. I'm having a hard time identifying whether or not I need to stratify them. My other seeds are started on a mixture of peat/pearlite, with a thin layer of sand on top of that. Will that also work for the pings? I've had luck water germinating sundews but I am not sure about pings. I plan on sowing half of the seeds first and see what happens, so any advice will be appreciated.

I have successfully started caerula from seed without any stratification. The seeds were sent to me as part of a trade and no mention was made of that need. However the shipper did not tell me whether he did a stratification before sending. Plant half the seeds and see if they germinate. Should take just a few weeks to know.
