The aquatic utricularia aren't much to look at but still deserve some love. This batch started from a 6" piece. It is now growing here and in 3 other tubs in just a few months.

I don't think aquatics are any more "underappreciated" than other utrics. I don't grow any aquatics due to lack of space. Imagine that may be a common issue for many folks.

Blessed are the "cracked" ... for it is they who let in the light.

I do think aquatic utrics are much cooler than a lot of regular utrics. Hope to grow some soon

This is a common myth. A milk jug with the top cut off will do.

This one is in a 1 gallon wheat bucket with some peat in the bottom. I've tossed random strands into the tubs holding my various other tubs and they continue to spread.

Exactly! I've even grown em in 3 inch pots with caulked drainage holes. Not hard in the least.
