My flytraps have been getting 6+ hours of direct sunlight per day (around 80°F). Does the red pigmentation indicate sun damage? If you look you can see it at the base of the plant and inside the trap of my alien.

Nice plant! Red pigmentation inside the traps don't indicate sun damage. From my experience with this cultivar, this is completely normal when it is outdoors in direct sunlight.

Awesome! Should I be worried about the red pigmentation at the base of the leaves though?

The red pigmentation on the base of the leaves happens when the rhizome is exposed to the sun. I don't think this damages the plant, unless it got severely sunburnt.
