Sorry that some of the traps on the Korean Melody Shark died in transit. It looks like the box must have gotten a little too hot somewhere along the way. It definitely didn't hurt the rhizome though and the remaining traps look healthy so it will certainly grow out of it.

KMS is a pretty fast grower if given good care and fed regularly. I'd expect it to look pretty good again in 6 to 8 weeks.

Oh. I have a small one limpin' along. I'm growing it outdoors, partial shade (8 hours of sun), as I live in an area where they will burn even after acclimation.

How should I feed it?

Ah, I know how to feed VFT's but my KMS clones have trouble closing.

Maybe I'll just osmocote them?

Osmocote would likely be too much for them. Look into freeze dried blood worms or nutritional yeast.
