Yeah I found it had 3 divisions when I repotted this spring but they hadn't fully seperated from the main rizhome.

Thats gorgeous. Reminds me more of the green dragon.
I read a bunch of past posts from Matt Miller about how over years they researched and developed a super hardy red fly trap.
And I am sure this seed grown is one of the better genetics, not to mention you are obviously a great fly trap grower.

It would make sense. This cultivar, even though it's red, is the fastest growing trap i have.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm trying to perfect growing flytraps, I'm trying to grow the biggest and baddest possible.

Gorgeous plant! And you've done a great job growing it. I grow some typical VFTs down here in Louisiana, but they sometimes succumb to the heat in summertime. Anytime I've tried to grow a red or any special cultivar, it didn't end well!

A great example of the fun to raising flytraps from seeds. The surprise of what might grow into something unusual.

Add me to your list of adopters when your momma plant divides more than you can stand. :D
