Can moss grow well with Peatmoss and sand 50-50? For terrarium usage? Thanks

What kind of moss are you referring to? I've grown batches of live sphagnum moss on 100% LFS, 100% peat, or without any substrate at all. Light and water seem to matter a lot more than substrate in my novice opinion.
