I'm not sure if there are any left or if Shadowtski took the last one and you haven't updated the list yet. If there are none left I'd like pinguicula ionantha. Thank you! I have some 2 ounce stamps that the person at the post office said would work the same as non-machinable stamps, do you know if this is true and they would work?

My apologies, I was in the process of updating the inventory when you made your request. Sarr 040 is unfortunately gone, Shadowtski beat you to it.
I changed your request to reflect your second choice of P. Ionantha.
According to the postal employee that I talked with yesterday, non-machinable or hand sort/hand cancel price is the equivalent of postage + 15 cents. For our needs with seeds, that is 70 cents. But, the trick is, I have to take the letters to the post office and request hand cancelling to avoid the machine. If it has a non-machinable stamp (70 cents), then it supposed to be automatically hand cancelled regardless of where it's picked up.
That being said, any SASE that I receive that has a non-machinable stamp, or extra postage for the hand cancelling, I will take to the post office to request hand cancelling.

For Sarracenia or Dionaea seeds, please use a 70 cent non-machinable stamp on your return envelope. (The inside one)
If you can't find a non-machinable stamp, use a forever stamp plus a 15 cent stamp or two regular forever stamps on your return envelope.
The USPS machinery loves to crush those seeds.

Please remember to write your Forum username and order number somewhere on the envelope or in a note.
