I've been wondering about buying an 'alien' flytrap from the FTS, but have 3 questions first.

1. Are the plants grown already acclimated to sunlight? (This would be awesome)
2. Can I order the plant already potted in one of the new self-watering pots? (with separate purchase)
3. Can the soil mix be put with the fly-trap in the self-watering pot?

Yes, but the Oregon sun in April isn't the same as the Georgia (or any other southern state) sun. So we always advise being cautious about introducing our plants to full sun. It would almost certainly do fine, but if you are in the middle of a heat wave, it might be best to keep it in dappled light or shade initially for a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, no. There is no way we could sufficiently protect a flytrap to travel in a pot that size.

Again, no. The soil mix is heavy and thus risks breaking the pot when shipped.

But you can order all three things separately and then pot the plant yourself to your liking :)
