Hello everyone, it has been years since I have last been active here. I am currently a second-year university student studying plant biology, entomology, and ecology, evolution, and biodiversity, a far cry from middle school me first joining here. In the past several years I have gone through many life changes, and as a result, I drastically cut back my plant collection, leaving a few special temperate individuals under the care of my family. When I was visiting home over the summer, I checked up on those plants and it rekindled my love of carnivores. After some convincing, my roommate finally agreed to let me set up some LED grow lights, so I have been slowly getting back into the amazing world of carnivores.

I'm glad your love for carnivorous plants has been rekindled! I've always held off on buying a carnivorous plants (specifically VFTs), in fear of them dying under my care. But I decided to take the plunge and start growing them and they have been so so rewarding!
Cheers!
