Should work just fine as long as it can wick water, I use 50% peat 50% perlite myself for VFT's (cheap and works good)

to be honest I dont like peat because it is more keen to root rot :/
But if so what is the ratio of vermiculite, perlite and spaghnum moss (dried)?

I don't use that mix, but if i had to i would shoot for 50% moss and split the other 2

you keep saying dried? wet your moss, it will mix better.

I personally don't use vermiculite, but LFS and perlite yes, specifically for one of my D adelae. Other than that, I use peat and perlite for all of my CPs. I just happen to have peat more available than LFS, otherwise I'd probably use that instead

I tend to steer clear of vermiculite as it eventually breaks down releasing nutrients, otherwise a 50/50 mix by volume or more perlite if you want to open the texture up, depends on what plants you are growing really.

I've had good luck with a mixture of lfs and perlite. I generally forgo the lfs though and use peat. It is far more cost effective to buy a 3.8 cubic foot brick of peat (rinse well!!) and mix some perlite in.
