Hi all.A few times i removed some white mold from the surface of the soil, some milimeters. They are not on the vft, even if i have the vft for about 1 month and 2 weeks, with white mold apearing a few times.I know that i must keep ventilation, but i cant leave my window open all the time. What is the latin name of the white mold or the the usual one and the effects on soil.I have read somewhere that is not dangerous. Thanks in advance.Good night and good fight (against the enemies of VFT).

Less moisture along with more sunlight and moving air will help to prevent mold (fungal growth).

If grown inside where there is usually less light and the air does not move as much, Venus Flytraps probably ought to be kept less wet. "Moist, not wet" is a personal mantra of mine. Flytraps are not aquatic plants. :D
