Went and rechecked and it was around 4.5 - 5.0. The 7 to 8 is what I use in another barrel.

What should I do if I'm in WA where winter is usually 40-50 but sometimes gets freezing. Like it could be 40-50 and I'll wake up with my VFT covered in a few inches of snow the next morning

They will be fine down to 20 degrees. The snow works as insulation. When it gets colder than 20 degrees I bring them inside the garage.
