This my about 4-6 months old VFT plant. It got his own "do not touch" terrarium with two led lights and a tube to fill with water (it's for not to make a mess with soil). I've added a little seed week ago and it's growing! Didn't know it will going to grow. I'm gonna repot the pot plant or destroy it, don't know yet.

That setup is going to cause some issues.

i cant see the pot plant growing much past seedling in VFT media it just needs nutrients and cant get its own like a VFT

I agree. Way too shallow, no drainage, and probably insufficient light. Why not grow it in a regular plastic flower pot outside?
