Hello everyone!

I am new to carnivorous plants and looking forward to learning as much as I can from the veterans of this community and contributing where I can. I currently have two VFT typicals that I picked from the local big box store. I am waiting to receive a DC XL and B52 VFT, a Cephalotus and a Drosera spatulata that I ordered online.

Best regards,

OBD

Welcome! I'm also a Silicon Valley resident, Google is my backyard - indifferent about it. Ha!

Looks like you're already adding more plants! Cephalotus was my first online purchase after rescuing my Dionaea from Sprouts. Our location is very suitable for the Australian Pitcher Plant.

There's tons of info here and many people happy to help.

Happy growing!

Welcome OBD. I too am a newbie to CPs from So Cal. My love of CPs also started with rescuing a VFT from the local grocery store. It's doing well and I've since added another VFT, Serracenias, Nepenthes and Droseras. Love them all but am especially fond of my growing Nepenthes collection. Here are a few of them...ImageImageImage

Thank you for the warm welcome! By some stroke of luck, today I received all of my orders from three different vendors!

Thank you Matt for sending the beautiful DC XL!
