I have a small vft . Its still in the original container it came in which is a small 3 inch tall pot .
I am scared of losing the plant if I repot it in sometime.
But I don't have peat moss easily available here in india . Is dried sphagnum moss and silica sand a good option ? what are survival rates because I heard conflicting information of Sphagnum holding too much water .
I have seen some people growing vft in pure silica sand nothing else .

Please guide me thanks.

I grow almost all of my flytraps in pure sphagnum. There is no need for the sand.
