Hi guys, beginner here, I've had a couple of fly traps less than a month, and a couple of days ago I was gifted a crowded 3rd plant. Should I repot this and check to see if I can separate out (potentially) multiple plants? My own purchased plants are no where near this crowded, and I feel like the leaves are going to get in each other's way if they haven't already (I'm currently growing them indoors with a small growth light after sun burning my first purchase, so lighting is not the best).

Wait until just after dormancy.

Focus on getting your plants back outside.

Two methods to doing that, just throw them outside and let them adjust on their own OR slowly give them more and more sunlight everyday.

I would wait until next spring to re-pot and split. Being as it is in the middle of the growing season, wait until it's gone through dormancy. Once it's starting to come out of it, then see if it needs splitting.

Only split it though if there are clearly two or more rhizomes (bulbs) with their own root system.

That's a very nice "crowded" plant.

It appears to have at least two growth points. Early next spring, you'll be able to get at least 2 plants out of it when you separate the rhizomes. But for now, just give it LOTS of sun (ideally outdoors) and keep the soil moist (but not wet).

It will not hurt that plant whatsoever to be "crowded" which that one is no where near being overcrowded. I would however suggest putting that whole plug in a real pot.
