Looks like they are either dry (lack of moisture in the soil), or it's mineral burn. But I'm no expert, and could very well be mistaken. Let's see if anyone else will come along and offer an explanation.

This plant appears to have been planted too deeply. Only the rhizome, the white portion of the plant with roots, should be below the media. On this plant the media looks to be half way up the leaves. You should repot leaving the grow point and the colored portions of the leaves above ground.
