If you are not sure about watering how much, try this!
If you grow live long fiber Spagnum moss on top of your peat moss, the moss should always be green. If not, you have a lack of water.
The other way to check, put your finger on top of your plants' soil, if it sticks to your finger, you do not need to water it. If it doesn't stick, go ahead and give it a bit of water. (I want to thank Giovanni for telling me this, or my plant may not have been living.)
