I was just wondering if you guys use rain/distilled water to rinse your peat. I go throw so much water when I need to rinse. Can you use tap water then do a final rinse with good water. My TDS is around 200 out the tap.

I wouldn’t use it. When I rinse with distilled water the runoff is usually around 100-150PPM so you would be adding more minerals than you are rinsing out.

I like to get mine down to around 10PPM. Sometimes I’ll stop around 15 if I’m running low on water.

i've found peat moss i don't have to rinse but yes, rain water is the way to go. don't use high tds tap because that defeats the purpose of rinsing.
