FlytrapCare Carnivorous Plant Forums

Hello all!
I'm Rodrigo, I live in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and i'm a newcomer in this hobby. I'm a geography student in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), but in the next year i'll change my studies to biology.
My favorite hobbies are carnivorous plants, aquarism, astronomy and mineralogy (i have a stone, minerals and gems colection).
My first carnivorous plant was a dioneia muscipula (venus flytrap), that even came to flourish. Today i have some droseras specimes. I also have some aquariums at home; Anyway, I like everything I can learn and relax, especially things that involve living things.
I'm a very calm guy, who like to debate and discuss diferent points of views!

Welcome to the forums! My interests are very similar to yours and my collection is too, 1 flytrap, a few drosera, and some other stuff. I also have a small rock collection and an aquarium

do you know the bresilian dorstenia ?

it is not a carnivorous plant but a very interessant genus ,growing 'in situ' in south america but also in africa

may be you can help me
