Hello all, I have been reading some great topics here and finally joined. The first VFT I had years back died within a week because I was not aware of its requirements and internet was like new LOL. I tried to acquire some online and hang it under my LED light and it seems to like it and it is going to give me a flower.. I transferred it to another shelf with T5 HO setup so I can do a timelapse video until it blooms.. I always thought it requires a sunlight to make them bloom...

That is false. If you have a very unhealthy plant that is about to die anyway maybe but it will by no means die if you let it flower.

It has been a while since your original post but I'm wondering how your VFT is presently? If I read you right, you moved it from LED to T5 correct? I set up a 4' 6 tube T5 on March 16 and put a small division VFT 8" to 10" under even though most common knowledge says they don't do well on artificial lights. I've seen tremendous growth in the plant, both in production of new growth and increase in size of old growth. Further more, I just put a larger VFT that had been in a south window under the light as well. The south exposure window is about 3' wide and as such, it only provides 3-4 hours of direct sun IF the sun is shining, I live in Wisconsin zone 5.
