They look healthy. Dont worry about it. The old leaves will die soon and new leaves will grow to replaace the old. Did you grow it outdoor?

Ya I grow it outside then take it in side when it rains. Some leaves look a little weird (like chewed up ) go to repot it this winter.

Looks good. How many hours does it get a day?
Edit: didn't see the previous post. Don't take it inside, rain won't hurt it. The plant will be stressed if conditions keep changing going inside and out all the time, if you're worried about the rain being too hard or rot if it rains for prolonged amounts of time you could place the plant under shelter.

Definitely leave it outside. Put it under shelter if it rains really hard, but otherwise, leave it alone. Flytraps are native to North and South Carolina, they can take rain. Just be sure the tray under it isn't deep enough that the pot gets completely submerged in water, and it'll be fine.

Ya I just don't like top water and the rain could trigger a trap. I wouldn't think 30 mins inside would effect it that much would it? Annoyingly we have ants that get eatin by my vft and it kills the trap 93% of the time!

Leaving your plants in the rain is beneficial to the plant. The rain cleans the plant, removing any leftover exoskeletons, any dust, pollen, etcetera. It's also a free pot flush, as well as drawing oxygen into the media for the roots.

So the rain won't cause powder mildew, algae and trigger traps? (I'm in 100% sphagnum Moss)I water my VFT daily with the rain water I catch.(tray method)
I flush out my pot on a bi-weekly schedule,as for any exoskeletons I just get tweezers and pull them out if the look like it's negative to the heath of the vft.

What I always say, is there isn't anybody sheltering the plants that are still growing in the wild. The only difference is we grow these in pots, so like others said we just need to make sure the tray isn't too deep. I love when my plants get rained on they are so bright when all the dust and pollen is gone.

Yes or no
Rain water triggers traps?
I get a spray bottle and clean my vft then get a fan to evaporat the excess moisture. All plants are "wild" doesn't mean I can't help them more then nature would have.

Sounds to me like you take extremely good care of your plant and I'm sure it is doing well but....these plants are very hardy. All you really have to do is leave it outside and make sure the soil stays moist. That's it. The rain may trigger a trap or two but the plants know there isn't t a bug inside and will open back up within a few hours to one day. Rain is good for the plants as stated above. I think you need to just sit back and watch your plant grow. Enjoy it. Don't fret over every little detail.
