Title says it all! Looking for rooted cuttings or seed of the giant cape sundew. Can offer very little in trade at the moment... But if there's the generous type out there, I'm more than happy to send a SASE. Thanks all!

I have some D. capensis grown from ICPS Seedbank seed labeled D. capensis "Giant". It self pollinated and produced seed.

I'm not sure if Giant is a cultivar or a variety that passes its characteristics from generation to generation.

I call the seed D. capensis "Giant" x Self. Or you could call them D. capensis with interesting genes. If you want some for an SASE, PM me and I'll send you my mailing address.

It's a crapshoot what the plants will look like. Most likely they'll be typical. But the chance is there that you get a giant plant, worthy of cultivar registration.

Not sure of their cultivar status either... Have heard tell that they do exist, just unsure as to how accurate the reports are.
