I have this hanger that would be perfect for my flytraps size wise. But would the mesh pot leak nutrients into the flytraps? I don't have anything under them so they would just drain through the mesh but I've heard that clay trays can put minerals in flytrap water so I was wondering if this would do the same. I have no idea what kind of material it is, but its what hanging plants come in sometimes if that helps

As long as you do top watering, let the water drain out from bottom regularly, it should not be a problem.

I rinsed it out with hot tap water the best I could just now, I'm not sure how else to clean it other than that. I have it drying now. Top watering is all I do so they won't be sitting in water
