Hello -
Glad I stumbled onto this forum - it's already helped hubby and I.
We picked up a VFT at Lowe's late last summer. We kept it alive in our house over the winter and it's doing pretty well this summer. A squirrel knocked it over a few months ago - so we repotted it with info I learned from this site.
We are really enjoying our plant and learning about them.
I plan to order another one from Matt for my hubby as an anniversary gift in a few weeks. He will NEVER suspect that - and he'll enjoy it. He's really gotten into caring for our current box store rescue.
Luckily we have a counter top water distiller we use for our own cooking and drinking water - easy to share with the trap.
I'm trying to attach a pic of our trap - hope it works!
