Ok so wish me luck, I've bought some seeds for a Vft of the internet and have read through a lot of the posts here and on other sites.

I've got my self a nice sunny window a decent size pot and some peat and pearlite, my question is how many of the seeds should I plant in the pot? the pot is about 7inches in diameter and about 8 inches deep, so how many seeds should i plant in the pot? is ok to plant 4 evenly spaced out? or should i just try 1? and to what depth should i plant them?

many thanx and any other tips on succesfully germinating from seed urgently required!!!!

Hi mowgli and welcome to Flytrapcare!

Just sprinkle the seeds on top of your potting soil and spray with distilled/RO/deinonized water just for the seeds to make contact with the soil. Cover it with transparent plastic so there is enough humidity to aid with the germination. With the pot size, you can place up to 30 seeds. Place in a warm place with lots of light, be careful not to cook the seeds. ;)

Hey mowgli! Welcome to flytrapcare!

Good luck with the seeds. I usually pack a ton of them into a small pot to save on space. See this photo:

But it's better to space them out a bit if you can. Just know not to worry if you get them all planted too close. And as hb said, they'll germinate much faster if you keep them under plastic or in a plastic bag.

Let us know how it goes!
